We are always interested in expanding our list of members, and we would love to hear from you. Adding more capable riflemen, medics, team leaders, medics and support personnel lets us create even bigger missions and lets us utilize more roles.
As stated on our Who We Are page, we are all ArmA veterans and we are looking for a bit older players than most other teams do. We are looking for mature players who can differentiate between when its appropriate to play around and when it’s time to get you game face on.
Our wishes are:
- You are able to speak and write English.
- You need to be 25 years or older.
- You need to be mature, respectful and know how to handle situations like an adult.
- You need to have a working microphone and a basic knowledge how to use TeamSpeak.
- You need to have a basic understanding of ArmA 3.
- We would like you to attend as many operations as you can. Our schedule is as follows:
- Main Campagin: Sundays 20:00 to approx 22-22:30 CET/CEST
- Side Operation: Thursdays 20:00 to approx 22-22:30 CET/CEST
- Test, try and play: Tuesdays 20:00 to approx 22-22:30 CET/CEST
What do we offer?
We don’t believe in tests or trial periods, we look for personalities that will fit in with our group and not game skill. We won’t force you to lead a squad day one and we won’t force you to do anything, you are free to choose whatever role you want to try.
There’s always something for everyone, but as a new member it’s always nice if you show initiative and show us who you are and what you bring to the group. We are trying to get to know you after all.
We are not a strict mil-sim unit and definitely not a realism and/or role-play unit, but we strive for immersion (immersion is our big go-to word) and being excellent at what we do. It doesn’t matter if it’s being an infantry unit entering an AO or if we take the part of a helicopter bound QRF-force getting called into action. Some might even be a pure support unit flying or driving people and equipment where they need to go.
Our organizational structure is very flat and we don’t use ranks or anything like that, especially out of game. We are very democratic when it comes to most decisions no matter what they are, but in case of severe differences or terminal matters, there still is people that has seniority. In game we use a fairly standard Chain Of Command structure however and although we promote free thinking, we expect you to listen to your squad leader
We offer as much of a sandbox experience as we can, the only limiting factor is our imagination and the amount of people attending the game.
Even though we don’t have an official trial or anything like that, you need to be aware and remember the fact that we might tell you that things doesn’t work out, even after quite a bit of time. The more you attend our games the better we get to know you and the faster we (and you) get a feel for each other. We expect you to respect the groups’ decision, no matter what.
In addition the the above specified mission nights, we regularly attend Joint OPs with other groups. This can be on our server or on the other teams’ servers, with their mod packs. This creates a healthy exchange of ideas and players, so we even further increase our total player count. Information about Joint Ops will be posted ahead of time on the forums so that you have a chance to download the other units’ repo if needed.
We don’t expect you to know how to use every mod or function in the game, that can be taught as we go. What we look for is a player that will be able to function with the rest of the members. The rest is easy to teach and easy to learn.
So, how do I join?
Make sure that you read our wishes and what we can offer you, both are equally important! If you’re still interested we’d be honored to hear from you!
Proceed to the Recruitment Form
After you’ve sent us the application we’ll have a read through and get back to you by PM on our forums. You will be contacted by a member who’s in the recruitment team and from there we’ll setup a time when we can meet on TS and have a short chat. If we both still feel like it’s a go you’ll be welcomed with open arms!
